The EX-M Epic Ball Head from Explorer Photo & Video is a medium-sized, lightweight travel ball head, featuring a hollowed design that makes it up to 20% lighter than similar size heads. With a load capacity of 33.1 pounds, it weighs only 0.6 lb. The robust 36mm ball diameter makes it capable of supporting larger lenses, while being compact enough to use with camera bodies and lens combinations of all sizes. The large main adjustment knob has a friction control dial, and an independent pan lock knob allows the head to rotate on its base. The Arca-type quick release clamp is knob-tightened and includes an EX-50 quick release plate.

The Explorer EX-M ball head is CNC-machined from an aircraft-grade aluminium alloy and anodized with an oxidation treatment that ensures a durable, high-quality finish.
