c1975 Vintage Simulated Jade Gemstone Silver Plated Ladies Ring Size 6.25 READ

Circa 1975 Vintage Simulated Lab-created Candy Apple Jade Gemstone and Silver Plated Ladies Cocktail Ring Size 6.25 This ring has a beautifully regal look and is easy to wear anywhere.

Laboratory grown simulation gems were very popular for jewelry in the 1970’s because of their beautiful clarity and predictably perfect cutting into usable gemstones.

This mesmerizing stone measures approx 14.5 mm long x 10 mm wide x 4 mm deep. The entire ring weighs 4.1 grams.

The band has an inside mark that reads, “SILVER". The bottom of the ring where the shiny silver is worn down has exposed a magnetically attracted base metal.

This ring originally belonged to my mother who purchased it when we lived in Taipei, Taiwan in the mid to late 1970’s. It has been well loved and is looking for a new loving home!

The ring is in good preowned vintage condition. Note that some of the silver plating has slightly begun to wear off in places and along the edges of the bottom of the ring.
